The Alloy Origins is not a hot-swappable keyboard model. Our HyperX switches are soldered onto the PCB, removal or modification of them is not recommended.

If you are experiencing any issues with the keyboard, you can perform a factory reset. However, this will cause you to lose the custom LED profile. Press and hold FN + ESC keys for 3 seconds until the keyboard backlight blinks.
